Emanuel Lewis’s biggest hurdle was overcoming a kidney failure, which led to a kidney transplant six and a half years ago. His inspiration is his parents – his dad for showing him how to be a man, father and husband. Emanuel says he learned from him when to be strong and when to be gentle. And his mother, he calls a “tour of strength and womanhood.” Emanuel works to change lives and inspire, and his passions are politics and to one day teach at a university. He knows his mark will be made by judging how his wife and children feel about him and by not being a public success and a private failure.
