Considered by many (including other musicians) as one of the finest guitarists playing today, Frank Vignola has his feet planted in jazz guitar. Yet, for someone who has played with Ringo Starr, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel and Madonna, he can sure tackle the classics (Rimsky-Korsakov, Beethoven) unlike any other before – and with a playfulness that makes watching him surprisingly uplifting. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust brings Vignola to the John H. Williams Theatre of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. Second St. Show is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Tickets are $28, available at www.myticketoffice.com.
