Star violinist Midori recently celebrated her 30th anniversary tour. Considering she began her career as a child prodigy and made her concert debut at age 11, Midori has been a professional for nearly three quarters of her life. The proof is in her playing. The Armstrong Auditorium, 14400-A S. Bryant Road, in Edmond welcomes Midori and her extraordinary artistry and power for a special recital of Beethoven, Mozart, Bloch and Faure. Joining Midori will be her long-time accompanist, pianist Özgür Aydin. Performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, and tickets are $42-$94 each.
