[dropcap]The[/dropcap] Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City hosts the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship on March 4-7. This is the second time the arena will host the championship, which will continue to be played there through 2019. Since the tournament began, Baylor leads the conference with seven championships that include five straight championships from 2011-2015. Seeding for the tournament will be based on regular season records.
