Thursday, March 5 –
Last November, at the 48th Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, New Artist of the Year honors went to an up-and-coming talent, Brett Eldredge. Growing up a fan of music, Eldredge enjoyed the storytelling and performing associated with singing and began tuning his music to the big voices of his idols like Ray Charles, Ronnie Dunn and Frank Sinatra. Moving to Nashville after college, he realized playing the guitar would land him in the pool where other artists of his genre and talents tread. As his ability on the guitar strengthened, pairing with his potent voice and completing the package, Eldredge found growing fame. His recent award brings added clarity to the evident success path this man is on: His debut album, Bring You Back, was released in August of 2013, his latest single “Mean To Me” continues rising on the charts, another single, “Beat Of The Music,” won Eldredge Song of the Year at the 2014 American Country Countdown (ACC) Awards, starting in May, he will be an opening act for Darius Rucker’s 2015 Southern Style tour, and continuing through March and April, Eldredge and his sound tour the country, making a stop at Tulsa’s Cain’s Ballroom on March 5. The Southern sound of Alabama native Ryan Kinder will open the show at 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.cainsballroom.com.
