Don’t forget about the annual Azalea Festival from April 1-30 at Honor Heights Park in Muskogee. Held since 1968, the festival boasts 40 acres of manicured gardens with over 30,000 azaleas in 625 varieties. Along the same line, the Tulsa Botanic Blooms event wraps up April 17 – make sure to tour the Tulsa Botanic Garden before all the bulbs bloom! 

To celebrate the start of spring, visit OKC for the opening weekend of the Oklahoma River Cruises on April 1-3. You can also celebrate life and honor the fallen at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on April 22-24, beginning at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.
