Monsters of alternative rock, the Foo Fighters are in the midst of the Sonic Highways World Tour to promote the newest album of the same name. The tour has gained headlines this past summer, including the story of frontman Dave Grohl breaking his leg mid-concert during a stop in Sweden and finishing the concert anyway. The group will play the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday, hopefully with less fanfare, but no less energy. The band has played songs from the new album, as well as classics from the past 20 years, including “All My Life,” “Big Me,” “This Is A Call” and, of course, “Everlong,” on past stops; Oklahoma City fans can look forward to a mix of old and new songs, and all of them worthy of a sing-along. Austin, Tex.-based rocker Gary Clark Jr. will open the show. For more information, visit www.chesapeakearena.com.
