Friday, March 7-Monday, March 10

If you thought you’d seen everything the state has to offer in vision and artistic talent, think again. The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition presents the annual exhibit Momentum: Art Doesn’t Stand Still, 8 p.m.-midnight both Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8, at the Farmers Public Market, 311 S. Klein Ave., in Oklahoma City. Momentum puts Oklahoma artists under the age of 30 in the spotlight offering them experience and the opportunity to find new audiences. This year’s display features Momentum Spotlight artists, three young artists chosen for a three-month program offering the benefit of guidance from a guest curator. The exhibit continues at the Farmers Public Market on Sunday, March 9, and Monday, March 10, from 2-7 p.m., but only Friday and Saturday includes great live music, food trucks and a lively reception atmosphere. For more on gallery hours, visit www.momentumoklahoma.org.
