For the Oklahoma City Thunder, this October blends preseason warm-ups with the tip-off to regular season play. With six preseason games leading up to the team’s Oct. 28 first regular season game at home against the San Antonio Spurs, fans are anxious to see the 2015-16 starters and their chemistry. With Kevin Durant’s health expected to return Oklahoma’s champion to the court, it’s a strong guarantee that Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka will lead the lineup. According to ESPN, shooting guard Dion Waiters, who started 23 games last season, and center Enes Kanter, who started 74 games last season, will join them at the start of the clock. Oklahoma fans can root on their team Friday, Oct. 9 against Fenerbahce Ulker at Chesapeake Energy Arena, on Tuesday, Oct. 13 against the Dallas Mavericks at Tulsa’s BOK Center and when they take on the Denver Nuggets Sunday, Oct. 18 back in Oklahoma City. A few numbers for Oklahoma fans to know for the regular season: There will be 10 Sunday home games, three Saturday home games, seven November home games, and the team’s longest home stand, four games, will take place Dec. 25 through Dec. 31.
