From plazadistrictfestival.com: The 2016 Plaza District Festival boasts a broad artist selection of both new and returning Oklahoma artists. It includes a variety of media including paintings, photography, woodwork, paper silhouettes, stained glass, sculpture, pottery, children’s books, soap, jewelry, t-shirts, hand-crafted aprons, clothes, purses, and designer dog treats and collars. On top of street vendors, food trucks and live music, the Plaza Walls project will host the Inaugural Plaza Walls Mural Expo, which will debut 20 new murals by 20 artists. The 20 spray-paint enthusiasts of Plaza Walls will begin painting the week of September 18 and will debut 5,200 square feet of brand new murals on Saturday, September 24, during the Plaza District Festival. The public is encouraged to walk through the Plaza Walls alley, with entrances on Sixteenth Street and Indiana Avenue. This event is free to the public.
