Thru Dec. 31 –
The Red Art Center celebrates the holiday season with a Native American twist this year. The month-long Red Earth Treefest features Christmas trees adorned with handmade ornaments created to highlight the diverse Native American cultures that make Oklahoma unique. Representatives of the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes, Chickasaw Nation, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Comanche Nation and Osage Nation showcase their distinctive cultures of their tribes. Their creations will be showcased on six-foot trees featured at the Red Earth Art Center. Each tribal Christmas tree featured in Red Earth Treefest includes complete descriptions of the handmade ornaments. For more information, visit www.downtownindecember.com.
