April 7 – Rogers Point, Catoosa
From okrowing.org: The Tulsa Youth Rowing Association hosts the Route 66 Regatta at Roger’s Point Park in Catoosa. Rowing Teams from Oklahoma and surrounding states will compete in side by side sprint races over a 1800m (junior teams) and 1000m (adults) race course on the McClellan-Kerr channel close to the Port of Catoosa. Racing will start at 7:00 a.m. and will finish around 5:00 p.m. on April 7. Many different boat types will be racing from single sculls to eight sweep boats. The teams participating will feature youth athletes and adult masters rowers. The regatta serves as a fundraiser for TYRA and is also a platform to help promote the sport of rowing in the region.
