Claremore’s Fishing and Fireworks

According to event coordinators: “Fishing Derby Registration will be at 7 a.m. at Claremore Lake. First 500 kids to register will receive rod and reel/tackle pak/everything they need to fish! Registration is FREE! Kids can fish until 10 a.m. Age groups are 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10-12 years. Trophies will be given for smallest and largest fish in each age group! After awards, there will be a drawing for two bicycles in each age group.
Let’s wish America a happy birthday at Claremore Lake Park! Presented by the City of Claremore, the free fireworks display will be a lot of fun! The park will open at 6p for pass and handicapped parking. Free parking is at the Will Rogers Round-Up Club; visitors can walk from there or catch a shuttle. National anthem will be sung at 6:30p. Live music starts at 6:45p. The fireworks will kick off at 9:45p!”
