Opening May 31 –
Philbrook Museum of Art’s newest exhibit, The Figure Examined, brings some of the most prominent European and American artists and their works of the 19th and 20th centuries to an exhibition that examines the portrayal of the human figure. The works of Auguste Rodin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Jackson Pollock, among others, all in one room, will allow audiences a unique exploration of the different meanings that can be expressed through human form. See the more than 100 works that include paintings, sculptures and works on paper drawn from the Kasser Mochary Art Foundation. The exhibit runs through Sept. 13.
