From woodyfest.com: Celebrate the life and legacy of Oklahoma legend Woody Guthrie at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival— also known as “Woody Fest.” The folk festival spans from July 11 to July 15 and is held in the singer-songwriter’s hometown of Okemah. From poetry readings and guest speakers to plenty of musical performances, the lineup for the event guarantees a special weekend for all. The festival takes place at multiple locations throughout Okemah, including the Crystal Theatre, Brick Street Café, the Rocky Road Tavern and more.
