Will you be able to watch Theatre Tulsa’s A Food Good Men without thinking of Jack Nicholson in the witness box shouting at Tom Cruise? “You can’t handle the truth!” It’s the best known line from the 1992 film of the same name, but it would be a shame if audiences didn’t give this production of the Alan Sorkin play (upon which the film is based) due credit and attention. The story about an untested Navy lawyer defending two Marines accused of killing a soldier from their platoon is high drama as he unfolds the truth and the bigger question of how honor and humanity fit in an increasingly complex and volatile world. A Few Good Men opens at 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. Second St., Tulsa. The play continues through the weekend and from May 27-29. Tickets are $14-$18 at www.myticketoffice.com.
