There’s something for everyone this fall in Oklahoma.
In Tulsa, kick off the month with the Tulsa State Fair, running Oct. 1-11 at Expo Square. Then, on Oct. 10, head to Cabin Boys Taproom for Arias and Ales, an intriguing night of opera and beer courtesy of Tulsa Opera. Other can’t-miss options include Tulsa Town Hall’s speaking event with Laurie Santos on Oct. 16; Autumn in the Botanic Garden at Tulsa Botanic through Oct. 30; and the beloved Zeeco Oktoberfest, Oct. 22-25 at River West Festival Park.
In OKC, start with the Oklahoma Regatta Festival, running Oct. 2-4 in the Boathouse District, followed by Fiestas de Las Americas on Oct. 3 at Calle Dos Cinco. Banjofest comes next at the American Banjo Museum Oct. 8-10. For families, head to Paycom Center for Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live, Oct. 11-12, or enjoy Indigenous Peoples’ Day at the First Americans Museum on Oct. 12. Finally, Red Earth Fallfest kicks off at its new location, Scissortail Park, on Oct. 17.
Around the state, enjoy Oklahoma’s International Bluegrass Festival, Oct. 8-10 at Guthrie’s Cottonwood Flats; the Red Brick Road Film Festival, Oct. 8-11 throughout Pauls Valley; Poteau Balloonfest, Oct. 16-17 at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds; and the Chisholm Trail Festival, Oct. 17 at Yukon’s Mollie Spencer Farm.
