The University of Oklahoma celebrates 125 years with its statewide Galileo World exhibition. OU Libraries contains the one of the most important collections of early manuscripts in the United States. Its collection includes 12 first editions of Galileo’s, four of which contain Galileo’s original handwriting. Galileo’s World is a university-wide collaborative exhibition that features rare books, instrument replicas, digital resources and student projects in seven locations across the University of Oklahoma’s three campuses in Norman, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The exhibit opens to the public at the Sam Noble Museum and the National Weather Center on the Norman campus; the Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library on the OU Health Sciences campus in Oklahoma City; and the Schusterman Library at the OU Tulsa campus. Later exhibits open at the Bizzell Memorial Library, Headington Hall student residence center and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. For more information, please visit https://galileo.ou.edu/
