Ingrid’s has served German and Euro-American food since 1977, so, when the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives showed up at the Oklahoma City mainstay, generations of diners weren’t surprised. Menu favorites include the daily lunch special, which always comes with the chef’s choice of something fresh and sweet from the bakery – pastries, cakes, pies, breads, croissants or strudels. Every Tuesday night offers a spaghetti special and children 10 and under eat free. Ingrid’s lounge opens at 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday; drinks include German beers in bottles or on tap. Selected, half-priced appetizers are served from 4 to 6 p.m. daily. 3701 N. Youngs Blvd., Oklahoma City; ingridsok.com
