Thursday, July 23 –
In its 13th year, Odyssey de Culinaire, a fundraising dinner befitting the Hospitality Career Initiative of the Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation, will feature two delicious, chef-studded evenings. The first arrives in Tulsa on Thursday, July 23 at the Renaissance Hotel, 6808 S. 107 E. Ave. A dinner like you’ve never experienced, attendees will enjoy five courses, each featuring a chef mentoring a culinary student. This year, the event welcomes Sam Bracken of The Canebrake to the kitchen as the Tulsa coordinating chef. The five featured chefs include Ben Alexander of The Tavern, Kevin Kihle of The Renaissance Hotel Tulsa, Lia Lewis of The Culinary Institute of Platt College, Erik Reynolds of SMOKE on Cherry Street and Tim Slavin of Juniper Restaurant & Martini Lounge. With cocktails pouring at 6 p.m. and dinner served at 7, navigate the night with emcees Cindy Morrison of SocialVention and Dave Cathey of The Oklahoman. To reserve your spot, purchase single tickets for $125 each or a full table – eight seats – for $875. With some of our favorite Tulsa chefs cooking up something tasty, you’ll definitely want to pull up a chair. The Oklahoma City event is set for Thursday, July 30.
