Open only a few months, Park House, overlooking Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge Conservatory, has already gained a faithful following. Could it be the panoramic view of downtown Oklahoma City afforded by the glass-enclosed dining hall? The grounds, beautiful even in the dead chill of winter? You just can’t say enough for a great concept, and it seems the mustard seed-crusted pork tenderloin is one that works. Whether you’re ordering a dinner plate of halibut fish ‘n chips, filet mignon, chicken ‘n chips, a classic burger or an inventive appetizer (deviled egg flight, anyone?), the menu’s deceptive simplicity quickly gives way to a playful take on dishes that are anything but standard. Park House may have a few kinks to work out, like any new establishment, but we’ll enjoy the wait. 125 Ron Norick Blvd., Oklahoma City. parkhouseokc.com
