May 11-14 – Central Park, Broken Arrow

From roosterdays.com: Each year, the Rooster Days Festival contains a parade with colorful floats, queens, bands, clowns and horses. There is also a huge carnival with all types of rides and games, plus two stages with local entertainment with many western and gospel bands still singing over the loudspeaker. A young lady is crowned on Saturday evening in a Miss Chick Contest. Don’t forget the pioneers! A special dinner (by invitation only) is held for those who were born here 50 years ago or have lived here for 50 years.  Those eligible from all over the United States attend this dinner and several have been from foreign countries. The festival runs May 11-14 at varying times throughout the weekend. Visit roosterdays.com for a full schedule.
