From route66patriotcarshow.com: On Memorial Day weekend, southwest Tulsa, the birthplace of Route 66, will be jam-packed with fun-filled activities for everyone. Alongside the blue hot rod Mother Road, you will find hot rods of all makes and models, a carnival at Crystal City, food trucks at Daniel Webster High and a motorcycle show at The Village. Children will line up to try all the fun activities and rides while hot-rodders line up to sport their roadsters in the car show and cruise from the East Gateway all the way back to the West Gateway. Meanwhile, local musicians, art galleries and memorabilia displays will exhibit the history, culture and charm of this most patriotic city. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3400 Southwest Blvd. Visit route66patriotcarshow.com for details.
