Saturday, Feb. 22, 9 a.m-5 p.m.

You won’t receive an Olympic medal for attending the Bart & Nadia Sports Experience, but families win big at this festival promoting health and fitness. The event takes place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens, in Oklahoma City. Visit booths on nutrition, health care, sports and exercise; take part in the many sports activities (archery, volleyball, indoor rowing, more); or take advantage of health screenings (dental, general health, smoking cessation, children’s health). Free immunizations will be available to anyone 18 and under, plus Blue Cross and Blue Shield will offer immunizations to parents and guardians. The Bart & Nadia Sports Experience (hosted by Norman’s resident Olympic Gold Medalists Bart Conner and Nadia Comaneci) is held in conjunction with the Perfect 10 Challenge women’s collegiate gymnastics competition (Friday, Feb. 21) and the Nadia Comaneci International Invitational (Friday, Feb. 21-Sunday, Feb. 23), both at the Cox Convention Center. For more about Saturday’s free event, visit www.bartandnadiasportsexperience.com.
