At the Tulsa PAC, you’ve got a smattering of choices. First comes Celtic Throne: The Royal Journey of Irish Dance, from July 6-7. Enjoy authentic dance and music performance, composed and created by Golden Globe nominated Brian Byrne. From the beloved 1997 movie comes a stage adaptation of Anastasia, presented by Celebrity Attractions; the show runs July 19-24. You can support local creators by cheering on Theatre Tulsa as it presents Into the Woods Jr. from July 22-24. And fans of the Fab Four shouldn’t miss 1964: The Tribute, known as the most authentic Beatles tribute band, on July 29.
In OKC, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma presents: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel from July 5-10 and Kinky Boots July 19-24, both at the Civic Center Music Hall. Stick around for Painted Sky Opera’s presentation of Carmen on July 30. And if you find yourself in Edmond, Armstrong Auditorium presents another viewing of Celtic Throne on July 10.
