Wednesday, July 17-Sunday, July 21

Kids like to play during the summer break, but perhaps they should be taken to a play or two as well. Oklahoma Children’s Theatre has three of them on the Oklahoma City University campus for its annual Children’s Theatre Festival, running Wednesday, July 17-Sunday, July 21. Based on classic stories and fairy tales, The Wizard of Oz, Old MacDonald and Rumpelstiltskin bring fun to the Burg Theatre stage, Kirkpatric Fine Arts Center, 2501 N. Blackwelder Ave., Oklahoma City, as well as other locations on the OCU campus. Productions are intended for young children and families to entertain as well as inspire youth to engage in the arts.
