Sticking to its Tahlequah roots, the Turnpike Troubadours produce the folk of Woody Guthrie with the outlaw-style of Waylon Jennings. Fronted by singer and guitarist Evan Felker, the group celebrates modern rural life with a full awareness of history. The quintet’s overwhelming success is owed to its authentic Red Dirt music that captivates its southern fan base. Since signing to Bossier City records in 2007, the Turnpike Troubadours has released three albums, and on Friday, June 26, this country-rock band will showcase its guitar slaying music at the Brady Theater for fans.
