Tolkien and the subject of the epic cinematic trilogy by Peter Jackson. Burry’s opera, written for young people and performed by young people, brings to life all the magic of Tolkien’s Middle Earth with a hummable score populated with hobbits, elves, wizards, orcs and a dragon.
