From choregus.org: Los Angeles-based BODYTRAFFIC is an internationally acclaimed contemporary repertory dance company known for presenting today’s most distinctive choreographic voices. BODYTRAFFIC’s performances are inspiring, accessible, challenging, and full of joy. Appearing in Oklahoma for the first time, the company will perform Barak Marshall’s And at midnight, the green bride floated through the village square… (2012), a dark comedy based in part on a true story about how jealousy doomed all nine of a family’s children to a life filled with anger and loneliness. Also on the program is Dust with choreography by Hofesh Shechter and Richard Siegal’s O2Joy. BODYTRAFFIC has performed for sold-out audiences at prestigious theaters and festivals throughout North America.
