For fans of the original Fab Four, Celebrity Attractions presents 1964: The Tribute, one of the world’s foremost Beatles cover bands, at 8 p.m. July 12 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
OKC’s Lyric Theatre presents two popular musical hits this summer. First is Disney’s Newsies, July 9-14 at the Civic Center Music Hall. It showcases the story of the New York City newsboy strike of 1899. Next is the Tony Award-winning musical Titanic from July 23 to 28, also at the Civic Center and based upon the blockbuster 1997 film of the same name.
Rescheduled after a June rainout, Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show is July 26 -27 at the Oklahoma Historical Society. Enjoy re-enactments of the original wild west shows with stagecoaches, horses and gunfire; it’s complete with music, food and fun for all.
