The opening concert of the 2015-16 season of Canterbury Choral Society, Belshazzar’s Feast features the work by William Walton that chronicles the Fall of Babylon. Rhythmic and richly orchestrated music accents this tale of deception that leads exiled Jews to freedom. Igor Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms will also be performed as part of the experience. Prior to the show, attendees will enjoy a feast of food truck, including selections from Crepe Brewers, Katie Bug’s, La Gumbo Ya Ya and Loaded Bowl.
