April 28-30 – 108 Contemporary, Tulsa PAC

From chambermusictulsa.org: For their return to Tulsa, the members of Lysander Piano Trio are excited to present an unusual program of Mediterranean music, including music by Enrique Granados, one of Spain’s most colorful composers. The trio will also present a very romantic work by the Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, who found refuge in Hollywood during World War II and helped shape the sound of movies while teaching the likes of John Williams. Finally, the group is thrilled to perform the “Mount Everest of piano trios,” Schubert’s profound trio in E-flat Major. Concerts are 7:30 p.m. on Friday at 108 Contemporary, 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Westby Pavilion, and 3 p.m. on Sunday at the PAC. Visit chambermusictulsa.org for details.
