March 28-29 – Cherokee Heritage Center
From cherokeeheritage.org: Children will enjoy an outdoor classroom lesson in Cherokee culture during Indian Territory Days at the Cherokee Heritage Center. A variety of activities related to Cherokee lifestyle during the 1890’s will be presented to school-aged children. This event provides a great learning adventure for public, private and home schooled children. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The same program is presented each day. Groups can stay as long or short as their schedule allows.
