Singer-songwriter and musician Jackson Browne has sold more than 18 million albums in the United States. Browne’s career began in the mid-1960s in the folk clubs of Los Angeles. His debut album was released on music mogul Devin Geffen’s Asylum Records in 1972, titled Jackson Browne. The album featured the piano-driven single Doctor My Eyes, which entered the top 10 on the US singles chart. Since then, Browne has released 14 studio albums and four collections of live performances. His new studio album, Standing In The Breach, explores love, hope, defiance and political events of today. In 2004, Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
