Part of 2015-2016 Classic Series, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic presents Tall Tales, Magic and Majesty. The classics series showcases works by two dozen composers representing 10 nationalities. Tall Tales, Magic and Majesty is the theme of the second concert, which features Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis and Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks. German violinist Augustin Hadelich will make his Philharmonic debut in Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D Minor. For more information on the concert, visit www.okcphilharmonic.org
