Opening Friday, Oct. 2

This annual exhibition by Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition curates selected works by emerging artists age 30 and under. The exhibit kicks off on Friday at Living Arts, 307 E. Brady St., in the Brady Arts District in conjunction with the district’s First Friday Art Crawl. Artists recognized this include Ashley Farrier, Oklahoma City; Ellen Moershel, Norman; and Erin Raux, Norman. Themes explored in this year’s exhibition include grief and loss. This year’s curator is America Meredith of Santa Fe, N.M., and the emerging curator is Mary Kathryn Moeller of Tulsa. Meredith will give a talk on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Living Arts.
