Opens Thursday, Oct. 1

Tulsa’s most anticipated family event of the year opens on Thursday with rides, exhibits, food and more at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds. Highlights of this year’s fair include the Disney On Ice production of Frozen, along with the PRCA Rodeo & Concert Series, which pairs a show of contestants competing in bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding with a concert; on Friday, the rodeo will be followed by a concert by Easton Corbin, and on Saturday, it’s Pat Green. Be sure to set aside time to visit the various exhibitors at the fair, as well as ride a few rides and taste a few deep-fried concoctions, including things fried and on a stick.
