Randy Houser arrived on the country scene as a songwriter. One of his first hits as a songwriter was “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” which he co-wrote with Jamey Johnson and Dallas Davidson. With writing credentials under his belt, Rouser was encouraged to venture into singing, and signed to Universal South Records in 2008. His first single, “Anything Goes,” was released later that year and appeared in the Top 40 of the Billboard country chart. Rouser’s debut album also titled Anything Goes, was released in November. In 2009, Houser received two nominations for the CMA Awards, including New Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Boots On.” After the mild success of his second album They Call Me Cadillac, Houser released How Country Feels in 2013. The most successful track on the 2013 effort, “Like a Cowboy” reached No. 3 on the Country Airplay chart and received a 2015 Country Music Association Song of the Year nomination. Early this year, Houser released the single titled “We Went,” which serves as the lead single to his upcoming fourth studio album.
