No matter how many successive, new albums Bon Jovi produces, the band which lived in leather pants and wildly tossled hair through the ‘80s may always be best known for Livin’ on a Prayer, an anthem that was destiny to our ears as teenagers, now warmly nostalgic to our responsible adult sensibilities. Let’s not overlook, however, that Bon Jovi’s latest offering, What About Now, produced the single Because We Can, which has gone the distance on iTunes all the way to No. 1 in 12 countries. Not bad for a band that made rock gold in the age of the Sony Walkman. Bon Jovi brings its new tour and album to the Chesapeake Energy Arena, 100 W. Reno Ave. Tickets are $19.50 and up to $189.50, and show is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Visit www.chesapeakearena.com for more.
