Friday, Aug. 21 and Saturday, Aug. 22 –
The Glenpool Conference Center opens its doors to the first ever Tulsa Culture Festival, which will showcase all the excitement African, Latin/Hispanic and Caribbean cultures have to offer. Music, art, dance and food will fill the center, indoors and out, as the festival seeks to both educate and entertain its attendees. “The main stage offers festival guests a passport to the world,” a press release for the event says. Guests can enjoy performances that include Caribbean music, belly dancing, African dance, traditional Mexican dance and more. A family-friendly event, visitors can also enjoy activities that include a dunk tank, face painting and laser tag. There will also be vendor booths and some of Tulsa’s best food trucks and cultural restaurants serving up myriad flavors. Each day, the festival goes from 11 a.m. to Midnight.
