The gardens of Muskogee’s Honor Heights Park are famous for it collection of azalea specimens that blossom brilliance every spring. It’s also well known for its extensive Christmas lights display that layers the entire acreage with a glow. If you’d like to see what all the attention is about, check out the Garden of Lights by New Year’s Eve. The display ends Wednesday, Jan. 1, at the park located near Okmulgee Avenue and North 32nd Street in Muskogee. Tunnels of lights and animated displays are just the start of this attraction, which also includes an outdoor ice rink, hayrides, a gift shop and treats.
