Singer/songwriter Loretta Lynn has more than 50 years of experience in the country music industry and continues to make a big impact today. You may recognize her from top hits such as “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” “You Ain’t Women Enough (to Take My Man),” “Don’t Come Home A’Drinkin (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” (a duet with Conway Twitty), “You’re Lookin’ at Country” and “Fist City.” Really early on, Lynn became very influential in country music as the woman who was unafraid to stand up for herself. In 1976, she joined others on the New York Times Bestseller list for her autobiography that would later turn into a hit film starring Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones. Recently, Lynn teamed up with musician and producer Jack White to release her latest album, Van Lear Rose. Don’t miss this music legend as she graces The Hard Rock Tulsa Hotel and Casino, 777 W. Cherokee St., Catoosa, stage, Thursday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.hardrockcasinotulsa.com/the-joint-tulsa/loretta-lynn/
