From oklahomacitybotanicalgardens.com: Join us on the Children’s Garden porch for a morning of repurposing pumpkins! We’ll start out with a discussion and “show-and-tell” of pumpkin varieties, followed by a short walk to check out how we have utilized pumpkins in the Children’s Garden. We’ll meet back on the porch to finish off with our pumpkin craft. Children will be able to make either a mini-pumpkin birdfeeder or mini-pumpkin pansy planter. Be sure to preregister to reserve your spot and pumpkin.
