Ashley Stevenson, the creator of Foodie Foot Tours in Oklahoma City, realized her love for food and its many flavors in 2003. Upon moving to Oklahoma City, she enjoyed tasting everything its restaurants had to offer and has since made it her goal to share with her community the wonderful bites that small, mom-and-pop eateries serve, through her tours. Taking participants into restaurants in the historic neighborhood of Deep Deuce, not only do they get to experience delicious dishes, but there’s an added bonus of uncovering the beautiful architecture that abounds the district. On Saturday, enjoy three stops on the Deep Deuce tour, including Deep Deuce Grill, a neighborhood pub; The Wedge Pizzeria, serving up scrumptious brick-oven pizza; and Urban Johnnie, with contemporary American cuisine.
